Australian Friends of Asha welcome Dr Kiran Martin and Chandan Singh

Australian Friends of Asha Slums invites you to a fundraising cocktail party to celebrate as Asha graduate Chandan Singh commences a three-month research program in Mathematics at the Australian National University in Canberra.

Asha aspires to have every child and young person in its reach benefit from education including those from the slums in which Asha is working. In 2018, 172 students were enrolled in Delhi University and other universities, and another 205 in vocational courses. For each one of them, completing their schooling and progressing to higher education is an extraordinary achievement. Australian Friends of Asha Slums aims to raise funds to support other students like Chandan.

The Chief Guest, Dr Kiran Martin, Founder and Director of Asha Society, will detail how Chandan has had his life transformed by the power of philanthropy. We sincerely hope our supporter present in Australia to join the event and support us in breaking cycles of poverty through educational opportunity.
