Dr Kiran meets with New Zealand Prime Minister The Rt. Hon. John Key

Dr Kiran was invited for a dinner yesterday, at the New Zealand High Commission, New Delhi where the guest of honour was the Prime Minister of New Zealand, the Right Honourable John Key. The Prime Minister is on a two-day state visit to India to meet with Shri Narendra Modi, the Honourable Prime Minister of India.

Dr Kiran was delighted to meet the Prime Minister along with Asha graduates Jeetu (from Kusumpur Pahari), who is currently working at the New Zealand High Commission as an Immigration Support Officer and Priya (from Mobile Health Van Area) who also works as a part-timer at the High Commission.

The New Zealand High Commission has been hosting Asha interns since 2012 and many of them have gone on to land good jobs. The Hon’ble PM was pleased to hear about the recent developments taking place at Asha.

We thank the Deputy High Commissioner of New Zealand, Ms Suzannah Jessep for inviting Dr Kiran and the students.

We also heartily appreciate the Right Honourable John Key for taking out the time to meet Dr Kiran and we hope to host him soon at Asha.
