Asha bids farewell to Australian High Commissioner H.E Ms. Harinder Sidhu

Hi there everyone, there was yet another farewell at Asha- given to the Australian High Commissioner to India Her Excellency Harinder Sidhu, who will be returning to Canberra shortly after spending 4 years in India. She touched many lives at Asha, hosted events at the AHC, attended Asha student gatherings, facilitated the launch of the Asha Internship Programme, and encouraged Asha’s International Student Education Programme among a host of other things. The students and graduates came together to say goodbye and to thank her for providing them with opportunities that were a turning point in their lives. Some of the students are at university, others are on their way to studying in Australia, and many have got great jobs in India. Everyone gave Her Excellency their very best wishes for the next phase of her life in Canberra.

She would love to continue her involvement with Asha in Australia. So over to Australian Friends of Asha to continue and expand this relationship. – Dr Kiran Martin.
