Dr Kiran: ”Here is a 32 year old male patient who is a known patient of Hypertension for the past one year.
He tested positive for Covid and came to us with difficulty in breathing and uncontrolled hypertension.
We immediately began treatment for Covid, and also corrected his high BP with suitable Anti hypertensives.
The patient is now getting better. Such patients with comorbidities can go downhill rapidly. We would have referred him to a hospital, but again there are no beds. We are watching his vitals and monitoring him very closely.”
