Dr Kiran- “As the numbers of cases are increasing daily, the Asha Corona Warriors continue to be brave and committed, visiting every home in their communities. The afternoon temperature is 40°C (104 deg F)and it’s challenging to wear PPE in this heat. Most people are scared to go out because of the cases and density of population everywhere. The Asha clinics are open every day, treating non-COVID patients, looking after the children, running feeding programs and spreading education and awareness in the lanes and homes. What a sincere and courageous group of Warriors, serving from a pure heart and never giving up, in spite of their own challenges.”
