A Day of Hope: Dr. Kiran’s Medical Clinic and Community Meet

On Monday, Dr. Kiran visited the Asha community in Zakhira, where she received a heartwarming welcome from the residents.

As soon as she stepped into the lanes of the Zakhira slum community, a large crowd of Asha students, women, and community members gathered to greet her with excitement and joy.

Despite her busy schedule, Dr. Kiran took time out to personally visit the community. As she walked through the narrow lanes, she interacted warmly with families, listening patiently to their struggles and words of appreciation. She then met Asha’s college students and Ambassadors, who shared their stories of change made possible through Asha’s unwavering support.

Members of the Mahila Mandal (Women’s Association) also spoke about the positive developments in their community and expressed their gratitude to Dr. Kiran for her constant guidance and empowerment.

Following her walk, Dr. Kiran conducted a medical clinic at the Zakhira Centre, examining patients suffering from conditions such as bronchial asthma, diabetes, hypertension, and other common illnesses.

In her address to the gathering, Dr. Kiran reaffirmed her lifelong commitment to the upliftment and betterment of all Asha slum communities. She expressed her gratitude to the Asha Team at Zakhira for their years of dedicated service and tireless efforts in improving lives.
