Dr Kiran and Asha graduate Mahinder visit the University of Queensland

“The University of Queensland in Brisbane Australia will partner with ASHA and support its equity development work.

UQ will support a high achieving Asha student to undertake studies at UQ’s Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences or Faculty of Business, Economics and Law in 2020. The scholarship includes tuition fees, two semesters of Student Services and Amenities Fee, 24 months of single overseas student health cover, a living stipend, book allowance and return flights. The scholarship recipient will be able to stay on campus at UQ’s International House with accommodation, food (3 meals a day), and all utilities provided through the scholarship offer.”- Dr Kiran

The buildings are energy-saving run by solar panels and controlled ventilation to give the effect of air conditioning without using ACs. They are fully carbon neutral.
