As Elisa taught them the nuances of painting, the Asha girls in return painted her hands with henna for which Elisa was extremely excited and grateful. This was followed by the Australian Ambassador for Women and Girls, Ms Natasha Stott Despoja visiting the community. Ms Despoja loved the work of the children and appreciated Elisa’s efforts of promoting art amongst the community.

It was a morning filled with great joy and vibrant hues and the children had and enjoyable time learning to paint. Asha would like to thank Ms Elisa Jane Carmichael for spending time with the community.
