My name is Sitaram. I am 78 years old. I have been living in Mayapuri slum for over 50 years. All my 4 children have turned their backs on me and never come to ask about how I am doing.
I am an old man, and today I beg on the streets because otherwise I will starve. I was leading a lonely and sad life till I started coming to Asha. I felt a sense of belonging for the first time in my life. Here I receive so much love and respect, sometimes I just weep.
I look forward to my nutritious and delicious meal everyday. I am a patient of Hypertension. Since being treated at the Asha clinic, my BP is under control. I give my many blessings to Dr Kiran and pray that God grants her good health always.
May all of us enfold them with a love that will fill their hearts and satisfy their souls. May they be set free from all forms of bondage and be made whole through the redemptive and delivering power of love.
