One of Asha’s biggest milestones

One of Asha’s biggest milestones was marked on the 27th July 2018: the first boy from the slums of Delhi graduated with a Masters in Computer Science from Australia’s top university: University of Melbourne. Mahinder has become a role model for thousands of young people from the slums of Delhi. Dr Kiran travelled to Australia especially to be present for his graduation ceremony. The Chairman of Asha Australia Robert Johanson was the speaker for this event. Following this, Trinity College organized a fundraising dinner for Asha. This was attended by Australian Friends of Asha, Trinitarians, University of Melbourne faculty, and other interested individuals and companies.
