Asha continues to provide relief materials and comfort to the hundreds of slum dwellers who have been affected by the natural disaster in Anna Nagar. There are many families who need urgent help and assistance.
The disaster affected families in Anna Nagar have been moved to a local school, thanks to the persevering efforts of Asha Corona Warrior Junaid.
Warriors from a number of other Asha communities decided to do donation drives in their areas, and collected clothes, bought toothbrushes and toothpaste, detergent powder, and food items. They went from their respective communities to the school and spent time with the affected families. And distributed relief packets with kindness and words of comfort.
