There were a large number of TB patients in the Asha communities, most of whom got treated. Since Covid has spread in the slums, a number of treated patients have relapsed. They have become sputum positive again and are really sick. Some have been referred to TB hospitals for admission. That in itself is really difficult these days. Others are being treated and monitored at home by Asha.
