Macquarie Team conducted an interactive session on Child Protection and Child Safety with Bal Mandal children.

Asha’s long-term partner, Macquarie Global Services, organized an employee volunteering workshop yesterday for the children at the Asha Centre in Ambedkar Basti Slum Community.

The team member team: Ms Gagandeep Kaur, Jyotish Ghosal and Sagorika Chakroborty, conducted an interactive educational session on ‘Good Touch and Bad Touch’. The children were taught about personal boundaries and the various mechanisms available to protect their childhood. The team stressed the importance of transparency and seeking professional advice. The children were delighted to receive chocolates after the informative and engaging session. The session ended with a QA session, where the team discussed different ways of resolving issues that may arise.

We appreciate Macquarie Global Services’ valuable contribution, as such efforts go a long way in creating awareness and building a safer environment for children.
